Solar Panel Defect Image Identification System

Technology Introduction:
The image identification of PV system using AI technique for CPC Corporation is developed. Plenty of PV panel images collected utilizing a drone are prepared for machine learning. We combine the PV patterns with IR images to obtain locations with relatively high temperature by threshold setting. The defects may be thus clarified. A user interface is created to assist us with the identification.
Industry Applicability:
This technique is developed for the maintenance of solar PV systems. It mainly utilizes drones to capture images of PV panels and further employs AI models to identify potential defects for these panels. The problems may be solved as soon as possible in order to make sure the functions of the PV system.
