Founded in December 2017, PurCity ApS is a Danish company dedicated to improving urban life by helping buildings save energy and enhance air quality. Our founder and CEO, Morteza Ghorbani Eftekhar, was inspired to create this invention after growing up in a city with some of the highest air pollution levels in the world. Morteza’s mission is deeply personal. He was profoundly affected by the loss of his best friend, who, during their childhood, passed away from lung cancer caused by the city's high levels of air pollution. This tragedy ignited a lifelong passion to solve the problem, driving him to develop the ideas that became PurCity.
