Technology Introduction:
Polaris Electro-Optics is pioneering high-speed silicon-organic modulators to overcome data rate bottlenecks in conventional silicon photonics. Our proprietary Ferroelectric Nematic Glass (FNG) material exploits the Pockels effect and unique silicon photonic modulator design to enable fast, energy-efficient optical modulation.
Industry Applicability:
Our technology is developed to address the surging demand for high-speed data transfer across data centers, telecommunications, AI infrastructure, and optical computing. FNG is integrated onto silicon photonic ICs post-foundry, without modifying standard fabrication processes, delivering superior performance, manufacturability, and scalability.
