Ultra-thin structure chip technology for visual sensing applications

Technology Introduction:
ITRI's Metalens planarizes bulky lenses using nano-scale microstructures, offering one-stop design-to-inspection manufacturing from visible to thermal infrared wavelengths. It reduces total module height (TTL) under 2mm. For 3D iToF sensing, it cuts lens thickness from 5.5mm to 3.3mm and expands the viewing angle to 63×64°, perfectly fitting slim laptops and robot vision.
Industrial Applications:
This revolutionary, under-2mm monolithic metalens eliminates smartphone camera bumps and seamlessly integrates into ultra-thin laptops, wearables, and AR/VR/MR devices. Supported by an all-in-one foundry service from design to wafer inspection, it shortens development cycles and accelerates mass production, effectively disrupting the traditional optical supply chain.
