Upgraded to 3.2 Tbps transmission capacity to meet the growing bandwidth, fast data exchange, and scalability requirements of generative AI, high-performance computing, and cloud data centers.
2. Low-Power Design with Reduced Packaging and Optical Path Losses
A low-power optoelectronic integration design helps reduce packaging loss and optical path loss, improving energy efficiency, signal quality, and overall system reliability for data center applications.
3. Standard EVB Package Interface for High-Density Multi-Channel Integration
Featuring a standard EVB package interface, the module supports multi-channel optical and electrical integration in a high-density configuration. This enhances module scalability and flexibility, facilitating deployment in next-generation data center interconnect architectures.
Industrial Applications:
To meet the growing data transmission demands driven by generative AI, real-time computing, and high-speed data analytics, ITRI has developed a 3.2 Tbps silicon photonics optical engine module using high-speed optoelectronic integration technology. It provides a high-speed interconnect solution for next-generation data centers.

The module features high transmission capacity, low power consumption, low packaging loss, and low optical path loss. Its innovative fiber interface design improves the integration efficiency between optical signals and chips, helping reduce transmission loss. The technology can be applied to AI computing, cloud data centers, telecommunications networks, and high-performance computing, supporting system designs with higher bandwidth, higher density, and better energy efficiency.
