Occlusion-Robust AI Driver Gaze Tracking Technology
Technology Introduction:
• Technological InnovationAI tracks head pose, eyes and gaze in real time, judging attention despite masks, sunglasses, headwear, low light/glare.
• Competitive or Intellectual Property Advantages
22 cases/62 patent filings in Taiwan, U.S., Japan and China; links OEMs, system, sensor-module and chip partners.
• Important Achievements / Awards
Won Edison Award Bronze and SAE paper award; validated autonomous e-bus co-driving.
Industrial Applications:
Addressing UN R171 and R157, this technology enables real-time driver monitoring and reliable detection under occlusions and complex lighting. Deployed in autonomous electric buses, it supports human-machine co-driving and MRM decisions. Integrated with bio-radar, it assesses driver availability and monitors heart rate and respiration, with applications in smart buses, autonomous vehicles, and defensive driving training simulators.
