For optimizing the silage process, rice grain (broken) and rejected sweet potatoes were fermented as “Probiotic rice sweet potato silage”. The silage can replace the partial corn, and reach the goal of agriculture recycling in animal industry as well as reduce the feed cost. Using silage technology can consume 5,000 tons of rejected sweet potatoes, shorten the feeding period by 1-2 months of meat goat, and effectively decrease both feed and labor cost.
