This technology effectively inspects operating wind turbines without shutting them down. It completes a single wind turbine inspection in 5 minutes and effectively detects defects as small as 4 mm to save more than 40% of the inspection cost. This technology detects defects in real-time by observing the blade structure during operation and the motion state of the tower, which further emphasized the advantage of inspections during operation.
