Technology Introduction:
1. Enable SSDs with GenAI inference while retaining native storage functions—AI inference becomes possible with a simple SSD replacement.
2. Distribute workload from the main GPU to maximize AI computing power utilization and efficiency.
3. Accelerate the widespread adoption of edge AI applications across all industries.
Industry Applicability:
GenAI adoption has been limited by high deployment costs and cloud security risks. This project will develop the world's first integrated 6nm PCIe 6.0 AI computational storage controller and GenAI inference platform. With a simple SSD replacement, enterprises will be able to perform inference on the edge with beyond 30B parameters LLMs. This solution is designed to meet the future demand for edge inference across all industries.
