EDR, also known as the 'automobile black box,' is a device used to record driving information to provide evidence in the event of traffic accidents. It is now internationally required to be introduced and must comply with EDR-specific standards, making EDR implementation a necessary feature in the future vehicle market. This technology meets international vehicle regulatory standards (UN. R160) and provides domestic manufacturers with solutions.
