NCSIST developed the production and application technologies of metal Additive Manufacturing (AM) products.By establishing the whole process, including DfAM, simulation analysis, AM process, diagnose and verification, the product properties can meet the aerospace material specification.
The AM (Additive manufacturing) breaks through the limitations of traditional craftsmanship on design.
It is suitable for rapid manufacturing of small volume/multiple-Types parts. It can reduce development time and cost. The AM technology can be transferred through technical cooperation.
AM Ni-base alloy powders
The AM metal powders are fabricated by VIGA process, which can produce metal powders with high circularity, flowability, and mederate particle size distribution. The powder properties are comparable with that of the industrial company. After the AM process, the mechanical properties of the AM specimen meet the specifications of the casting as well as the wrought materials. Therefore, the AM Ni-base alloy powders are verified and can be used in industrial AM equipments.
